MP to stand again in next election

Ann Keen receives endorsement of constituency Labour party

The local Labour party has decided to automatically reselect the sitting MP for Brentford and Isleworth, Ann Keen.

11 of the 12 wards in the constituency voted in favour of not initiating a selection process for a candidate for the next General Election.

A spokesperson for Mrs. Keen said, "Obviously, Ann is delighted to receive such overwhelming support, this is a tremendous endorsment by the members."

In the Ealing, Acton and Shepherds Bush Constituency, sitting MP Clive Soley has announced that he will be retiring.
