Roger Monkhouse headlines Sunday at the local arts centre
Comedy and Curry Nights are back at Watermans in its regular Sunday slot, with a range of humour from satire to stand up to shows. Shake off those blues and pop in to Watermans for a laugh and a nice hot curry to keep you warm. Along with comedy, audiences can enjoy a superb Curry for just a fiver with the Guru Tandoori’s Curry deal. You can eat before the show, at the interval or afterwards. Sunday 17 August @ 7.45pm This line up, concludes the summer season of Comedy & Curry at Watermans. Headlining the night is the versatile and laconic comedian, Roger Monkhouse, arrives to entertain audiences with his deadly combination of charm and menace. His style is a mixture of observational humour and improvisation. He is the most sought after acts on the comedy circuit and is a regular member of the Cutting Edge, team at the London Comedy Store. Performing along with Monkhouse, is another experienced stand up, Adam Ethan Crow, who has been on the circuit for 8 years, performing as warm up for television shows, at Edinburgh and on radio. MC for the evening is Rob Hitchmough, who is a comedian, after dinner speaker, and with his mixture of boyish charm and biting wit he never fails to deliver.
