Mary Macleod, the prospective Brentford & Isleworth Conservative Parliamentary Candidate, has said how disappointed she is that the Prime Minister has "called off the General Election for November."

Mary (pictured right with David Cameron) said, “It was obvious that the Labour Party were preparing for a November General Election.

"Gordon Brown then saw that the polls did not look good for him, following the Conservative Party Conference, and did not have the political courage or the belief in his Party to hold a General Election. He lost his nerve because he could see what people were saying and feeling.

I believe that people across Brentford and Isleworth, whenever they get the chance to have their say, will stand up together and agree that it is time for change – real change that a Conservative government can bring.”
